Description

Baker Hughes Twin 50 bbl (100 bbl Total) Skid-Mounted Cement Batch Mixer

Description
Skid-mounted cement batch mixer originally from the Baker Hughes fleet. It has two 50 bbl vertical round tanks, 100 bbl in total, for mixing and conditioning cement slurry, spacers and completion fluids before pumping. It is fully self-contained, with a Detroit Diesel turbocharged 2-stroke V-series engine driving the hydraulic system that powers the mixing pumps and the tank agitators. The unit is built on a heavy oilfield skid with pipe skid runners and a protective frame around the engine. It is ready for land or platform service.

Specs:

  • 2 × 50 bbl vertical round tanks with cone bottoms, set on legs
  • Single-piece oilfield skid with pipe skid runners and bumper ends
  • Protective pipe frame (crash frame) around the power end
  • Detroit Diesel 2-stroke V-series engine, turbocharged with blower
  • Radiator cooling with guarded fan and mesh screen
  • Muffler/spark arrestor with elbow exhaust stack
  • Horizontal reservoir tank on the power end, likely the hydraulic oil reservoir
  • Dual engine fuel filters and an engine gauge panel
  • 2 centrifugal mixing/circulating pumps on the manifold between the tanks
  • Top-mounted agitator drives on both tanks
  • Tank-top recirculation piping, butterfly valves with lever handles, and at least one valve actuator
